Back-to-school displays
make the grade

Back-to-school and back-to-college shopping is a yearly tradition for the average American student. Back-to-school spending for 2013 is projected to be $72.5 billion in sales, making it the second biggest shopping season for retailers, after the winter holidays.

According to the Prosper Insights and Analytics study released by the National Retail Federation (NRF), the average family with children in grades grades K-12 completed half of their shopping in July (52.1%).

By contrast, more college students buy their back-to-school merchandise the week for school starts and/or after school starts, extending the long shopping season.

Eye-catching graphics on Lamas grab the attention of moms, dads, and kids right in the aisle. You can easily customize them with shelves of product or incorporate interactive effects shoppers will have fun with.

It’s the season for extra foot traffic in stores — so be ready to meet those feet with a compelling display.

Lama of the month: Yokohama®

This month’s featured Lama display for Yokohama® is definitely high performance. To promote a new line of AVID® Ascend™ tires that incorporate oil derived from orange peels, Yokohama’s design team chose a Lama with high-impact graphics to make a splash at tire stores throughout North America. Even with custom messaging panels and a die-cut designed to hold a tire, this one-piece display fit into a single compact shipping box for quick and easy setup.

Wrap extensions keep Lamas fresh

How can you lengthen the life of your Lama temporary display? Simply put, keep it topical. Just take a look at this coffee-themed Lama. With wrap extensions, you’re able to take a basic Lama column and refresh it with different messaging and graphics whenever you want. Simply change out those small panels when you’re ready.

New promotions, new products, or different headlines will sustain the visual appeal of your Lama while keeping your costs low. Plan ahead for the calendar year, and Trumari can help you design a Lama that can be refreshed multiple times.
