According to the Prosper Insights and Analytics study released by the National Retail Federation (NRF), the average family with children in grades grades K-12 completed half of their shopping in July (52.1%).
By contrast, more college students buy their back-to-school merchandise the week for school starts and/or after school starts, extending the long shopping season.
